Canada Strong for Ft Mac Children

Dreams Take Flight & the Air Canada Foundation Spread their wings to Fort McMurray children The Edmonton chapter of Dreams Take Flight will be welcoming an additional 50 children who were forced to leave their homes during “The Beast” wildfires in Fort McMurray. Air Canada provides DTF with an aircraft allowing us to bring special children to Disneyland for the day. We have a long history already with Northern Alberta communities, as children from there have been apart of our programs for the past 24 years. Edmonton kids head to Disneyland through Dreams Take flight

As written in the Edmonton Sun “Kids were jumping for joy at Sutton Place Hotel Sunday after learning they were chosen for a free trip to Disneyland. That’s where Dreams Take Flight announced it will take 108 kids from central and northern Alberta, as well as the Northwest Territories, for a one-day trip to the Los Angeles amusement park. Some very precious cargo was out on the tarmac at the Edmonton International Airport early one morning last month: dreams that came in the shape of 136 little bodies.
