Child Selection Criteria

We are currently going back to Disneyland in California, applications will open yearly in February. 

We are proud to work with various agencies, organizations and individuals from Alberta and NWT’s.   Our main focus area is from Red Deer and North. We take applications from across those areas and in order to participate, the child must:

  1. Be between the ages of 7 – 12.
  2. Financially the child or family would not have the opportunity to travel at this time or have NOT traveled at all in the past 12 months.
  3. Be a Canadian citizen – NO EXCEPTIONS – with the ability to provide the “long” form birth certificate. 
  4. Be able to legally enter the United States.
  5. Be medically, mentally, physically, socially or emotionally challenged.
  6. Have never been to Universal Studios, Disney or like theme park.
  7. Be able to communicate orally or in sign language.
  8. Be able to function in a group situation and be able to endure an extremely long day.
  9. Attend the mandatory Orientation Meeting before the Day of Flight.

PLEASE NOTE:

Forms will not be carried over from one year to the next. If a child is not selected, a new application must be submitted the following year.
