Join the Dream Family ✈️💙
Continue your journey with Edmonton Dreams Take Flight
Edmonton Dreams Take Flight is 100% volunteer-powered—and that’s what makes the magic happen. From Air Canada flight attendants, and ground support, to our Dreams administrative and event teams, every single person donates their time to help create unforgettable experiences for deserving children.
More than 30 years later, our mission continues to soar thanks to passionate volunteers from communities across Alberta and the Northwest Territories. When you join Edmonton Dreams Take Flight, you’re not just volunteering—you’re becoming part of a family that makes dreams come true.
Whether you’re a fully paid Dreams Member or a Dreams Volunteer, there’s no better way to give back than by helping deliver a true trip-of-a-lifetime. Volunteers play a vital role in bringing our mission to life by planning and supporting major fundraising events like golf tournaments, galas, and community-driven fundraisers.
There’s a Place for Everyone 🌟
We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds and skill sets. If you’re 18 years of age or older and ready to make a difference, you’re in exactly the right place.
Volunteer Requirements
To keep everyone safe and aligned, all volunteers must:
-
Complete a volunteer application
-
Follow the Members Code of Conduct
-
Consent to a Criminal Record Check (CRC) every two years
All volunteers—whether members or community volunteers—must be registered with Edmonton Dreams Take Flight. We track your volunteer hours and award credits for your contributions. As those credits grow, so does your opportunity to be considered as a chaperone on a future Dreams Take Flight trip.
Ready for Takeoff? ✈️
To be considered for an upcoming flight, volunteers must:
-
Complete a minimum of 50 volunteer hours within the year, and
-
Work, volunteer, or help organize at least one of our three major fundraising events during that year
Flight chaperones are selected from a pool of Dreams Members, Dreams Volunteers, and community sponsors and donors—each playing an important role in making the journey possible.
